I have stayed here twice now. Both times with my family (wife and 3 kids under 10). While admittedly long in the tooth, the rooms were clean, the pool (door to the pool needs to be fixed) was open and the staff was wonderful. From the woman who checked us in (who was simply the nicest person I have met in a long time) to the house keeping staff to the waitress who made my kids hot chocolate, everyone was really friendly. We stayed two nights and had two rooms each night. The place is centrally located (Ithaca is small so it's never really more than ten minutes anywhere you want to go). There is a coffee shop within walking distance and Purity Ice Cream is only an 8 minute drive. One nice small thing is that rooms have small fridges in the rooms. I do wish that the entire hotel would go non-smoking as the smell of smoke is evident as you walk through the downstairs. Still, considering how much other hotels in the area cost...
